''The Book entitled “ Mechanization of Horticulture” deals with different operations for production and post-harvest processing and management of horticultural crops and commodities. This book is essentially a Monograph which has been divided into 16 chapters. Chapters I and II summaries the current horticultural scenario as well as status of agricultural mechanization in india. Chapter III through XII deal with various operations, viz. seed bed preparation, planting, nursery raising, soil working tools transplanting of seedlings weeding and mulching, pruning, spraying and harvesting.
